The coin filled sand box at Fantasy Farm.

The sand box was on the north side of the restrooms, it was approximately 40 by 30 feet, nearly 10 inches deep with very fine sand. Very early each morning Edgar Streifthau would place quarters and 50 cent pieces around in the sand.  He would also place certain medallions which when found could be redeemed for certain prizes at the gift shop.  There were also some spring mounted animals such as a hippo, a large fish, and a large goat, each made of steel for youngsters to ride at the sand box.
