Our
school took a trip there each year. This was something all the school
kids looked forward to. We would ride the train to the back half of
the park and look at all the animals. We would ride the rides and eat
snow cones till we drooled. I am 41 and wish my kids could have went
to the small to me now, but giant place of wonder and fun when I was
small it was large now I am large it is gone that is a shame.
Americana is open again maybe the farm will open some day and I hope
its theme is still for the small so many times in life the small are
over looked. Who ever owned the farm has no idea what excitement and
wonder it delivered to me as a youth.
