Memories of Fantasy Farm

pool.jpg (47593 bytes)My father-in-law, Larry Gibson, owns the old Streifthau's building on First Ave. in Middletown. He runs an Office furniture store from it. I used to frequent it when it was Streifthau's as a child with my parents. I also spent a great deal of time at Fantasy Farm as a child and worked there in maintenance as a teenager. I swam in the old pool at Fantasy Farm once and when I worked there as a teenager prepared the pool for painting by scraping all the old paint off. But I never got to swim in that pool again. I rodethe racecars in the back that were rail guided a couple times. I have ridden most of the other rides also but those were my favorite memories of Fantasy Farm.

Oh I just remembered something else that was my favorite thing until it burned down. It is the old building that was filled with foam or sponges. I barely remember it but I remember loving to jump in it.
