Memories of Fantasy Farm

Kenny Pearson: Hmm where do I start. Well I always went to Fantasy Farm with my Mom and Brother sometimes with some others we brought along.  I have so many fond memories like meeting one of the Transformers over there, climbing up in the   tree house, the Flintstone cave,  the cave thing under the haunted house, miniature golf, paddle boats, the whip.  I also loved feeding the different animals there.

When I went in the 80's it was a very friendly atmosphere.   The employees were great  the people there were too.  I also   remember the arcade. I loved that place, escpcially Skee ball.  I played that for hours on end.

It was 1990 when I went to Fantasy Farm again for what would be the last time.  It was sad, the place had been quite in ruin.   No paddle boats, the haunted house was closed, the miniature golf was gone, one of the miniature golf guys was being used in the middle of the mini coaster,  the cave under the haunted house gone, the Flintstone cave gone. All of the rides, things around where the flinstone cave was were all gone.  It was in sad shape.  Yet I still had a good time.  I also of course played my Skee ball machines as usual.   I remember that day being sad because I couldn't climb in to the tree house, because it was unsafe.  I remember building's in ruins.  I remember leaving the park that day and my mom said "Kenny, this will probably be the last time we come here because it will  probably close soon."  I cried.

After the auction, it was ironic though,  my beloved Skee ball machines ended up in a game place a street over behind my house.  I was in shock one day to walk over there and see them.  I was happy however.  But maybe they are a curse, a few years later the place closed.   Now my Skee ball machines are missing again.
