Memories of Fantasy Farm

Jared McFarland, Franklin, Oh. I remember going to Fantasy Farm quite often in the late 80's. One thing I remember specifically was a time when I was probably about 6 or 7 and my cousin, who was a year older than me, were riding the "Octopus" ride.  I'm not sure what it was but I remember a large structure of some sort, (possibly a wall, maybe to another building?), being incredibly close to the back of the ride.  When your "pod" was up and in the back you would come, what seemed like it at the time, terrifying close to slamming into it.  I remember me and my cousin found it quite humorous at the time but a couple of years later we heard that the octopus or "spider" as we called it had been shutdown and was no longer in use, I don't know if that was true or not?  But none the less, I loved Fantasy Farm and had many fun outings there!
