The following letter is from a past employee who named "DJ".

Dave Bowers wrote you a  memory of his MOUSE RIDE,  I was the operator. I remember how excited he was the first time around the ride so I sent him around a second time. I don't remember a person having more fun on that ride than he did.  At Fantasy Farm after closing we operators & friends would ride rides after midnight.  On one of those nights I was in a tub (seat) on the Monster Mouse. I was sitting backwards with a can of Beer in my hand when my tub got to the highest point of the ride. My tub stopped! I sat my beer down in the seat, climbed out and stood on the track to give my tub a push (planning to  jump in and finish the ride) The tub went left and I went down 47 feet!  They say I hit everything on my way down! Looked like a pinball in a machine.  I hit the ground hard. I was sore for 2 weeks. I remember the next morning after my ride/fall the Fantasy Farm secretary had to use tweezers to pull the small pieces of gravel out of  my forehead shoulder.
