The Fantasy Farm Memorial Website

I worked at the Farm for several years. I have operated each and every ride at one time or another. I especially enjoyed operating the Eli Bridge Ferris Wheel for every season it was in the Farm from 1981 till the ol' man Johnson sold it. If there is anyone out there that can remember having their shoelace untied or their left shoe removed while riding the Ferris Wheel, it was me. I also have great memories of working in the during closed season. I believe that I had a hand in painting each and every ride there over my time I was an employee. I began working at the Farm in winter of '81 and I have lived on this property ever since. You can not believe how sad I am to see the place now. It hurts to see it as it is. I have some great memories of this place. Many of them I can not mention, Such as Fantasy After Dark. I still have quite a few objects of interest such as a pillow case, giant beer mug, and a few other things. I hope to talk to anyone who remembers me taking their shoe off while riding the Ferris Wheel. I remember the year after the Wheel was removed a woman came to the Trabant ride I was operating and asked me if I was the one running the Ferris Wheel last year? Not knowing if I had done something wrong back then I was afraid to answer. When I finally said yes she said "See that girl wearing the red shirt and white shorts, that is my little girl, we were last year and that kid has talked about all last winter was coming to Fantasy Farm to see the shoe thief so please when she gets on this ride please take her shoe off" I felt like a million bucks.  DJ
